  • Click on the button 'My Account' or the     button on any part of the NHS website
  • Provide your email address
  • Choose a password
  • Accept NHS Terms and Conditions
  • Validate your email address by providing the security code that will be emailed to you
  • Provide your mobile or landline telephone number
  • Validate your telephone number (mobile or landline) by providing the security code that is sent to you
  • You can choose to download the NHS app to access these services using your NHS login. For information about the NHS app visit https://www.nhs.uk/nhs-app/ 

OUTCOME: This creates your NHS login with a LOW level of ID Check - You will not be able to access health records or personal info with this level

Non-urgent advice: STEP 2 - VERIFY YOUR IDENTITY TO MEDIUM OR HIGH LEVEL – The level of ID check depends on what type of information you want to access and where from.

MEDIUM LEVEL – You will not be able to access health records or personal info with this level.

  • Enter your:
    • NHS Number or Name
    • Date of Birth
    • Postcode of home registered with GP
