Training

Medical students spend time with us as part of their training. We hope you will not mind if they are sometimes present at your appointment. There is no obligation to agree to this, and if you do not wish a student to be present please tell one of the receptionists or the doctor. All students are bound by the same rules of confidentiality as the doctors and other staff.

    First Contact Physio

    Andy qualified in 2009 as a physiotherapist from Southampton University. Prior to this in 2004 he completed his first degree in Sports Rehabilitation at St. Mary’s London. Andy has completed a range of post graduate training including; the management of spinal and shoulder pain, treatment of running injuries with gait analysis, study of Manual Therapy in Western Australia and gaining his Acupuncture qualification.

Community Nurses

Based at Moretonhampstead Hospital Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 4.30pm. Our Community Team provide a wide range of services to patients who are housebound, including diabetic care, wound care, continence care and terminal care.

Community Midwives

Antenatal clinics are held every two weeks at the Health Centre and appointments are booked through the surgery. For a new pregnancy please call the Templer Midwifery Team directly on 01626 770086.
