Clinical System Changeover week Thursday 18th - Thursday 25th April

We are Changing Clinical Systems!

Dear Patients,

We are now in the final migration process of switching to a new clinical computer system that we use for all your medical records and prescriptions.  This is so we can improve our services and bring our systems completely up to date. We will need to reduce non-essential activity during this time, and we ask for your support and to bear with us for another week.

To ensure a smooth transition during this final week and to minimise any disruption we have had to temporarily disable certain functions usually available on our website. We apologise for this inconvenience and would be grateful if you can wait until the week commening 29th April to process any non-urgent requests.

The following website services will not be available until Monday 29th April:

  • e-Consultation
  • Online prescription requests
  • Online registration

As previously stated, the following areas are affected during this time too - we are of course still available for urgent medical problems.

How will it affect you?

  1. Routine appointmentsannual reviews and bloods will be deferred over this period until the new system is live.
  2. The practice of course will be open and will deal with any urgent problems that arise.
  3. Online services for ordering repeat medication, accessing test results and health records, booking GP or Nurse appointments will cease during this period We are confident that the new system will help us improve the care we can deliver going forward.

Thank you for your understanding and support!
